Both these fish were taken at Chew on Saturday 7th February 2009. There was snow on the ground and the air temperature didn’t get above 4C during the day. The pike was my first twenty at 20lb 8oz and was caught just before 4pm.



The perch weighed 4lb 1oz, was caught from the same swim about 50 minutes later. Both are my current pbs.

They were taken on a 6 inch Jelltex lure rigged with a stinger. The lure fell out of the pike’s mouth in the net.
