Mike Skipper

Yes it's me. Yours truly with the largest pike landed during the recent two day International against Ireland on the Somerset Levels. (Sorry Ben/Andrew but you'll just have to guess the exact spot where I caught her from)
She weighed in at 13.07 and fell to a wobbled Smelt, using my brand New Greys Prowla 11ft bait rod. Boy did she put up a scrap!
A couple of really huge pike were hooked and lost during the weekend on the beautiful waters of the Somerset Levels, but fortunately for me she remained the largest pike caught during the two days of competition. Two other low doubles were caught during the annual International, which Ireland won by 44.11. Over 190 pike were caught and returned (safely) during the two days, for an average weight of just over 4.08 each. An impressive catch return!
Still it's Ireland next year, and time for us to gain revenge.
